How much notice do I need to provide when looking for temporary staff?

We understand that staffing issues can come up at any time, and are here to assist you in finding the best fit for your needs as quickly as possible. In order to appropriately meet your unique staffing needs, we typically ask for at least two days’ notice, but are able to react quickly to emergency requests.

How are Harmon’s candidates screened?

Our candidates go through an extensive hiring process that includes face-to-face intake interviews, screening, job readiness assessment, skills testing, past employment verification, and reference checks. We are happy to implement additional screening measures upon request, such as drug testing and criminal background checks.

What if an employee who is sent to our company does not meet our standards? Does Harmon guarantee its employees?

Yes. Harmon employees are bonded, insured, and guaranteed. In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied within the first four hours of an employee’s shift, please notify us. We will search for an immediate replacement and will not charge you for hours worked.

Does Harmon offer a Payroll Service?

Yes. If you have already selected a candidate and would like a chance to try them out before hiring them on permanently, Harmon is happy to set up payroll services. There is no contract obligation, and the worker can be hired at any time. Meanwhile, we cover the hassles of payroll, workers’ compensation coverage, etc. We also offer seasonal payroll service if you have a short-term staffing need.
