the area for temporary help staff. We offer our employees
health insurance, holiday and vacation pay as well as
referral bonuses.
Our
Guarantee to You
Your
Harmon employee is bonded, insured and guaranteed. In the
unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied within
the first four hours of an employee's work, please notify
us. We will not charge you for that time, and we will
attempt to find a replacement for you.
Billing
Rates
Harmon
Personnel is responsible for reporting and paying all
federal and state payroll taxes, including social security,
unemployment insurance and workers' compensation. As a
customer, you are invoiced at an hourly rate for hours
worked.
Our
billing rate is a flat percentage mark-up of the wage we pay
our employee. We review those wages periodically and adjust
them if necessary to ensure that they remain competitive in
our everchanging marketplace.
Overtime
Overtime
is billed at 1.4 times your regular billing rate after our
employee works 40 hours within a workweek. (Sun. -
Sat.)
Time
Card and Invoicing Procedures
Your
signature on our employee's time card verifies that the
hours worked are correct, that the work performed was
satisfactory, and that you agree to our terms and conditions
listed on the reverse. Please retain the yellow copy for
your records.
Our
employee must submit the approved time card to our office by
9 am Tuesday in order to be paid that week.
You
will find Client Terms and Conditions on the back of the
timecard.
Temp-To-Hire/Conversion
Policy
Should
you wish to hire our employee who is working a temporary
assignment for you, a placement fee may be applied as
follows:
|
0-240 hours
|
2 week fee
|
|
241-480 hours
|
1 week fee
|
|
Over 480 hours
|
No fee
|
Refund
Policy
To
calculate a one week fee, multiply the number of workweek
hours by the starting rate of pay (e.g., 40 x $10/hr = $
400). For a two-week fee, multiply that figure by two.
Placement fees for part-time positions are based upon a
minimum 20 hours per week.
A
placement fee would apply also if you were to hire our
employee within two months after the end of a temporary
assignment or if you were to hire an individual that we
introduced to you within two months of your initial meeting.

we may ensure adequate coverage for our employee. If your

please contact our office immediately.
Tips
to Orient your Temp
Your
Harmon temporary will have the skills and abilities to do
the job but may not be familiar with your specific
organization. You can help ensure a smooth transition and
successful experience with a brief orientation.
Help break the ice by introducing your Harmon employee to
supervisors and coworkers in the immediate work
area.
Orient the employee to your work environment for the
following if appropriate:
- Parking and
security
- Restroom
facilities
- Lunch/break location and
times
- Fire and safety
procedures
- Location/use of office
equipment/supplies
- Dress code
Review the job tasks and your expectations at the start
of the assignment.
Provide a contact or resource for questions or
assistance.
And most importantly, provide feedback to the Harmon
employee about their job performance.
